What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Assistant position at Community Health Services?
Purpose of Position:
The Marketing Assistant works as part of the marketing team to support the marketing, branding, advertising, and outreach efforts of the organization (including all sites). The Marketing Assistant will work closely with the Marketing Manager and other marketing team members to determine the marketing, branding, advertising, and outreach needs of the organization. The incumbent will be responsible for executing marketing and outreach duties based on the needs of the organization and the community it serves. This position is full-time with a schedule of 40 hours per week.
Essential Functions:
- Create and post engaging content to social media platforms and execute social media strategies
- Market to patients on matters such as health education, grant programs, Medicaid and Medicare, and general brand awareness
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote Carevide's healthcare providers across various communication channels
- Collaborate with Human Resources team to execute marketing strategies that support recruitment efforts and attract candidates
- Advocate to partners, stakeholders, and elected officials for their support
- Collaborate with Outreach & Enrollment staff in patient outreach efforts to engage with community and patients
- Manage the company’s online brand store, coordinate with vendor, and ensure alignment with brand guidelines
- Attribute to reputation management among online listings
- Develop and implement SEO optimization strategies to enhance website visibility and improve search engine rankings
- Assist with measuring data and tracking website traffic, digital advertising campaigns, and social media metrics
- Provide assistance in event planning and execution
- Take photos and videos of staff, providers, facilities, and events for marketing and branding purposes
- Work closely with marketing manager to facilitate projects that support brand awareness
- Responsible to research, source and create original content for projects/tasks as needed
- Organize print and digital marketing collateral and promotional product inventory
- Help ensure vision and brand consistency across the organization
- Perform other duties assigned
Evaluation:
The evaluation of work performance will be ongoing and will be carried out by the Marketing Manager, and will include the specific duties and responsibilities of this position description plus employee attitudes and general working behavior.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, or other applicable field from an accredited college or university
- At least 1 year of experience in the marketing field
- Knowledge of marketing principles and practices
- Digital marketing experience, comfortable navigating social media platforms and possesses understanding of analytics
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google products
- Willing to travel locally
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
- Strong organizational and project management skills
Status:
- This is FLSA exempt
