2. Summary
CHWP utilizes a team-based care model, sharing patient-care responsibilities among members of a team. The Information Technology (IT) Coordinator serves as a technically skilled employee with good problem-solving ability and provides support to the health care center and the employees. The duties of an IT Coordinator include being a reference point for all IT related queries at the user level, having a basic understanding of IT related resources at the company level, and coordinating services with 3rd Party Vendors for Information Technology Services, among other technical duties.
IT Coordinators are expected to display good interpersonal skills as they will interact with colleagues from various departments and executive levels. They are required to listen to their technical needs, understand their problems and assist with implementing solutions to them.

- Understand and ensure all practices and procedures related to the delivery of technology services are consistent with contracted protocols and procedures, and that they are followed with efficiency
Relationship Management
- Develop and ensure favorable relationships with all patients, staff, and colleagues. Ensure all technology services are delivered in a caring and professional manner.
- Develop and ensure ongoing, positive relationships and collaboration with all staff or the organization. Ensure the success of technology relationships with all clinic operations staff are highly respected.
Professionalism & Stewardship
- Ensure all actions, job performance, personal conduct and communications represent the organization in a highly professional manner at all times.
- Uphold and ensure compliance and attention to all corporate policies and procedures as well as the overall mission and values of the organization.
4. Primary Tasks and Duties
- Maintains patient confidentiality
- Obtain and maintain hardware for CHWP users
- Maintain computer hardware inventory and other asset inventory list
- Provide support at the basic and intermediate level such as user account management, hardware/software deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting, VoIP administration, and web updates
- Maintain relevant IT related licensing and subscriptions
- Set up and train new employees, provide additional training to staff as needed
- Demonstrate an understanding of the software programs used within CHWP, at times serving as administrator or backup administrator to programs
- Develop understanding of key office workflows, make recommendations to improve the processes with technology
- Address performance issues for applications, network, hardware and/or operating systems, escalating to 3rd Party Vendors when appropriate
- Assist 3rd Party Vendors with administration of server, network, VoIP technology resources
- Assist 3rd Party Vendors with installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability, repairing, or replacing damaged hardware, troubleshooting of computers and peripherals
- Plan and facilitate internal and external meetings, trainings, webinars, and conference calls.
- Lead or participate in workflow initiatives as assigned
- Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues
- Manage technical documentation

- Engage in all corporate compliance requirements of Community Health & Wellness Partners

7. Work Environment
The work environment characteristics are those for a normal provider office environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening hours.
Work hours
Full-time, non-exempt hourly position. Generally, a 40-hour work week is required for full-time; as agreed upon by parties; hours are subject to change. Office hours vary by site, but are usually 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Some Saturdays and after business hours work may be required. Assigned meetings and travel are a part of the position.
Wages
Starting wages for Position title will be negotiable based on Community Health & Wellness Partners pay policies and factors such as education and experience, national and state average compensation recommendations based on location and region.
Introductory Period
90-day probationary period unless transferred from another position similar within the organization.

6. Qualifications and Requirements
Education
- High School diploma required
- Associates Degree in related field preferred
- 2 years experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
- Experience in the field or currently employed within the organization may be considered without meeting minimum requirements.
Certificates and Licenses
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- IT Certification preferred

- Demonstrated expertise in relevant medical practices, protocol, trends and best practices in clinical areas assigned.

- Experience/Knowledge of accreditation processes and requirements, as well as all federal, state and local regulations and standards associated with the delivery of care in a community health center environment.
