Compliance Director

Community Healthcare Center is seeking a full-time, detail-oriented Compliance Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops and implements programs that ensure the organization is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Develops, implements, oversees and monitors complianceto ensure adherence with organizational policies and procedures and identifies potential risk areas.
• Develops and implements the Center’s Compliance and Performance Improvement Plan (CPI) and Risk Management Plan. Coordinates and develops the agenda for monthly CPI meetings.
• Educates employees of the importance of compliance and provides training on relevant regulations and policies.
• Investigates complaints to identify the root cause and recommends corrective actions.
• Develops corrective action plans and implements alongside leadership to address recurring issues.
• Monitors and addresses changes in healthcare laws and regulations, including specific requirements for Federally Qualified Healthcare Centers (FQHCs).
• Coordinates external reviews and on-site surveys for accrediting and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a healthcare compliance role, preferably in a FQHC setting.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred.
• Certifications: Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) are a plus.
