Position Summary
Support and assist the Controller with the financial affairs of the organization including general accounting, financial analysis, auditing and general ledger account reconciliations

Support and assist the Controller with the financial affairs of the organization including general accounting, financial analysis, auditing and general ledger account reconciliations
Essential Functions
- Perform general accounting duties to assist VP of Finance with monthly financial closing, meeting published deadlines and conducting internal audits
- Maintain all depreciation schedules and prepaid schedule for items charged with files pertaining to those charges
- Record daily journal entries
- Reconcile all bank statements and accounts at month-end
- Assist in the business office and billing when necessary and cross train as needed
- All other duties as assigned
- 2 years experience in accounting, including A/P General Ledger, Asset/Liability reconciliation required
- Healthcare accounting experience preferred
- Medicare/Medicaid knowledge preferable
- Knowledge/experience with Great Plains/ Microsoft Dynamics
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Sense of urgency and organization is key
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Exceptional communication skills, including oral and written: speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations, demonstrates group presentation skills and conducts meetings
