Description

  • Notes diagnosis of patient and takes all precautions for observing indications and

contraindications.

  • Prepares patient for treatment by proper dress and position. Acquisitions equipment
  • Explains what patient should feel and precautions to be alert to.
  • Applies the agents such as : Diathermy, Microthermy, Ultrasound, Electrical Stimulation,

    • Infrared, Hot Packs, Jobst Unit, Ultraviolet, Cervical and Lumbar Traction, Paraffin, Massage,

    Therapeutic Exercises and Ambulatory procedures.

  • Checks frequently on patient during treatment period to satisfy patient needs.
  • Makes telephone calls to referring physicians for clarification or elaboration of treatment orders

    • as needed, when RPT is not around.

  • Recommends change to RPT if indicated.
  • Discusses condition and treatment course of patients with RPT and Physician.
  • Records treatment in patient charts
  • Supports and abides by the mission, values, and policies of CHCS in all activities.
  • On-going compliance with CHCS educational requirements.
  • All other duties as required
