Plan, develop, and implement Speech therapy programs and activities in compliance with current regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with administration, medical staff, and related departments to plan therapy services.
- Maintain Speech therapy standards and assist the quality assessment committee in developing corrective plans.
- Interpret speech therapy policies and procedures to personnel and patients as necessary.
- Participate in discharge planning, resident assessments, and care plan development across all service areas within Community HealthCare System.
- Develop and maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for speech therapy services.
Additional Duties
- Prepare written and oral reports to administrators regarding speech therapy department operations.
- Supports the mission, values, and policies of CHCS in all activities.
- Comply with CHCS educational requirements.
Requirements
- Speech Language Pathologist licensure in the State of Kansas is required.
