What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Health Care Worker- Pharmacy Tech Program position at Community Healthcare System?
Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Director of Education and/or Supervisor and in accordance with established policy and procedures the Student Healthcare Worker performs multiple jobs in the department. This includes data collection, assisting educational classes, assisting to clean eqiupment, and answering the phone in a courteous and professional tone and forwarding messages to the appropriate personnel.
Job Responsibilities
- Answers phone in a courteous and professional manner and forward messages to the appropriate personal.
- Supports data collection initiatives.
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior direct patient contact preferred.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for patient/families of all ages.
- Excellent attitude, interpersonal skills and communication abilities necessary to interact with patients, physicians and other hospital associates.
- Maintain BLS Certification.
