What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief Operating Officer position at Community Healthcore?
Job scope: Responsible for proposing and implementing actions to achieve the Center's Mission Statement as directed by the Chief Executive Officer. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Center, implementation of Behavioral Health, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities services, Competitive Grant Programs, Fiscal operations including procurement and maintenance of complete and accurate fiscal records, Information Technology, Contracts Management, and Facilities Management. Integrates clinical and business practices. Works with national and state advocacy groups and other local state or national agencies or organizations that have an interest in or impact upon the delivery of community-based mental health, intellectual and developmental disabilities and competitive grant services.
Education/licensure: Master of Business Administration, Master of Public Administration or Masters degree in a human services field. Current valid driver' s license in state of residence.
Experience/Knowledge: Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in an administrative or managerial role. Community center experience preferred. Extensive administration and employee relations background preferred.
Physical requirements that are bona fide occupational qualifications essential to the performance of the job: Mobility, ability to read and comprehend complicated information, ability to make internal and external presentations.
