REPORTS TO : Special Education Division Leader
LENGTH OF CONTRACT : 10 months; 8 hrs / day; 190 Work Days / year
RESPONSIBILITIES :
The special education office assistant is responsible for the day-to-day clerical operations of the special education department, including providing support to special education staff.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Demonstrates strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- High degree of interpersonal relations and communication skills
- Evidence of good organizational skills
- Evidence of good judgment, trustworthiness, flexibility, and emotional maturity
- Demonstrates leadership qualities and is self-directed
