Community HigherEd is hiring an Accreditation & Compliance Specialist to support institutional compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. This role is essential in ensuring the organization meets accreditation and regulatory requirements through ongoing monitoring, policy development, internal audits, staff training, and accurate documentation.
Key responsibilities include maintaining state authorization for out-of-state enrollments, updating training programs for Green Country Workforce renewals, coordinating catalog submissions to OBPVS, and assisting with institutional surveys.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, and effective communication skills. A solid understanding of compliance standards is essential. Participation in graduation ceremonies, school-sponsored events, college committees, and professional development is also expected. A bachelor’s degree in a related field and prior experience in compliance or a similar role are preferred.
Key Responsibilities

Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly assess and evaluate compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Policy Development: Assist in developing and implementing internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

Auditing: Conduct and coordinate internal and external audits to identify areas of non-compliance.

Training: Provide training to staff on compliance requirements and procedures.

Reporting: Report non-compliance issues and track corrective actions.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities.

State Authorization: Maintain and update the state authorization files used to approve or deny all out-of-state enrollments.

Green Country Workforce: Update training program information as needed for renewal annually.

Catalog: Collect updates, make revisions, and organize the catalog for submission to OBPVS for approval.

Surveys: Assist with disseminating, collecting results, and documenting analysis.

Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
