As a Nursing Student, you will work under the supervision of experienced nurses, allowing you to apply your theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments, gathering vital signs and health information.
- Assist in the documentation review to ensure accurate patient records.
- Monitor patients’ conditions and report any changes to the supervising nurse.
- Support tube feeding procedures under the guidance of qualified staff.
- Participate in the development and implementation of care plans.
- Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to maintain patient safety.
- Assist with catheterization as needed, following proper protocols.
- Perform basic life support as required in emergency situations.
- Familiarize yourself with medical terminology and apply it in daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
- Basic understanding of patient monitoring techniques and documentation practices.
