Duties
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed.
- Assist with procedures such as IV insertion and venipuncture, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Administer injections and perform wound care as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility policies.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and post-treatment care.
- Assist in the coordination of patient flow within the hospital or clinic setting.
- Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology relevant to nursing practices.
- Experience in inpatient, outpatient, hospital medicine, or emergency medicine settings is preferred.
- Strong skills in venipuncture and IV insertion techniques.
- Ability to administer injections safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- A compassionate approach to patient care, centered on empathy and support.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
