Community Horizons is passionately supporting the search for a private caregiver to join a loving in-home care team. In this fulfilling role, you will provide vital support and hands-on assistance with personal care and housekeeping tasks. Your efforts will play a crucial role in helping this community member maintain their cherished independence at home.
This position is part of the self-direction program, which means you'll work directly for the individuals who need your support. This arrangement not only offers greater flexibility and control over your schedule but also fosters a more personal and meaningful working relationship, as the member will hire you directly, bypassing the agency.
Schedule:
As needed- There will be at least one days notice
Pay:
$16.32 & $0.35 mileage reimbursement
Tasks:
- Giving a hand with errands or taking someone to the doctor
- Helping lift and carry a wheelchair in and out of the car
To succeed in this role:
- You have to be at least 18 years old.
- You need a valid driver's license!
- We’re looking for someone with a medium-sized SUV.
- We want someone who is relaxed, fun, and can go with the flow.
- We’re hoping to find someone who is chill and easy to talk to.
