Caregiver for Couple in Hancock Wanted (back up)
A husband-and-wife duo is searching for the right caregiver to assist them in their Hancock home. They are in search of a care provider willing to train in and cover any open shifts as needed. Wage
· $16.32/hour for Supported Home Care, $15.00/hour for Personal Care.
· Mileage reimbursement is available when assisting with errands.
Current Need
· Pick-up hours as needed during the week and weekends
Usual Shifts Within the Home
· 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Tasks Include
-Dispose of garbage each visit; take it to the dump weekly
- Shovel/sweep porches as needed (driveway is handled by a private party)
- Clean kitchen and bathroom and assist with laundry
- Sweep, mop, or vacuum as necessary
- Prep vegetables
- Transport members for errands, including grocery and YMCA visits
- Assist with showers
- Feed cats and change litter
- Enjoy playing checkers or cards with the members
Ideal Candidate Traits
- Entry-level position with no prior experience required
- Favorable background check
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required
