What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Care Aide position at Community Horizons LLC?
Community Horizons is assisting a dynamic individual in the Omro area in locating a caregiver to add to his support team.
Hours: Part-Time (2 days per week, 2-4 hours per day)
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Job Tasks:
- Help maintain a tidy, organized home by assisting with light housekeeping and laundry tasks, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.
- Assist with meal prep and grocery shopping.
- Assist with other household duties as requested.
What you'll need:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus, but a genuine desire to help is most important.
- A kind, friendly personality with excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to perform light physical tasks with an emphasis on safety.
- Dependable, adaptable, and compassionate, with a focus on putting the client’s needs first.
- Must be 18 years or older with a Driver’s License, vehicle, and insurance
Community Horizons offers support for individuals enrolled in self-directed programs through Managed Care Organizations or IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct) throughout Wisconsin. Self-direction gives program participants the choice over who provides services and how they receive them.
