Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to an individual in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the member in his home. This role requires a blend of physical capability and emotional intelligence to effectively support the member with various needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist member with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of the member
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor member health conditions
- Assist with mobility including heavy lifting when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for member by performing light housekeeping duties and laundry
- Engage with the member and provide companionship
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or home care is highly preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges
- Compassionate nature with strong communication skills to build a trusting relationship with the member
Requirements: Must be reliable and have dependable transportation to get to and from the job
Must be at least 18 years old
A favorable background check is required before employment can begin
Schedule: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6:00pm-4:00am-Every Weekend -this is a temporary position that may lead to a permanent part time position Monday-Thursday 7:00am-10:00am
Wage: $17.00 per hour
