What are the responsibilities and job description for the Live-in caregiver position position at Community Horizons LLC?
This is a partial live-in caregiving position. In order to be considered for this position you must have a permanent residence within 30-50 miles of Appleton, WI.
As a Live-In Caregiver, your days are filled with purpose, connection, and care. You’re not just helping someone—you’re becoming part of their story.
FULL-TIME HOURLY PAY!
Shifts available-
- Thursday 2pm until 8am Friday = 18 hours
- Friday 8am until Saturday 10pm = 26 hours
- Every other weekend Friday at 8a until Monday at 8am = 72 hours
Pay: $16.50 per hour (includes awake and sleep hours) Overtime is paid when applicable.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare meals and maintain a clean, inviting space (laundry, dishes, sweeping, mopping, etc.).
- Assist with transfers (e.g., wheelchair to bed, bed to toilet) and mobility needs.
- Help with personal care like sponge baths, grooming, and dressing.
- Perform trach suctioning and operate a ventilator during the night (training provided). Training will be provided.
- Share conversations, laughter, and companionship, and assist with electronic devices.
- Enjoy built-in downtime during your shifts, including time to sleep.
What You Bring
- Heart: A genuine love for helping others.
- Experience: Caregiving or healthcare experience is a plus, but we’ll provide paid training if you’re new to the field.
- Dependability: Reliability is a must.

Community Horizons LLC. supports individuals enrolled in self-directed programs through Managed Care Organizations or IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct) across Wisconsin.
