*To be considered for this role, applicants must have a permanent residence within 30 to 50 miles of the Appleton area*
As a Live-In Caregiver, you will engage in meaningful interactions and provide essential support, becoming an integral part of an individual’s life.
This position offers full-time hourly compensation with overtime paid accordingly.
Compensation: $16.5/hour (Sleep and awake)
Live-in shifts available:
- Thursday 2:00 PM to Friday 8:00 AM = 18 hours
- Friday 8:00 AM to Saturday 10:00 PM = 26 hours
- Every other weekend, Friday 8:00 AM to Monday 8:00 AM = 72 hours
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing nutritious meals and maintaining a clean and welcoming living environment (including tasks such as laundry, dishwashing, sweeping, and mopping).
- Assisting with transfers utilizing a mechanical lift.
- Providing personal care services, including sponge bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Carrying out tracheostomy suctioning and operating a ventilator overnight (training will be provided- No prior experience necessary).
- Building rapport through engaging conversations, humor, and companionship.
- Benefiting from scheduled downtime throughout shifts.
Qualifications we seek:
- A genuine passion for assisting others is essential.
- While prior caregiving or healthcare experience is great, we welcome newcomers as paid training is offered.
- Reliability
- Candidates must pass a caregiving background screening.
