What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN/LPN Private Duty Care position at Community Horizons LLC?
We are seeking a skilled and confident nursing professional for a rewarding and flexible weekend respite position with a family in Green Bay. This role offers flexible hours, with shifts beginning no earlier than 10:00 AM. The hours are flexible and the family is willing to discuss any availability offered.
Candidates must have a Wisconsin LPN or RN license in order to be considered for this position. We encourage nursing students to apply!
Please note that candidates must meet certain physical requirements, including the ability to independently maneuver a Hoyer lift.
Compensation:
LPN $26/hour
RN $32/hour
Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Performing Hoyer transfers
- Providing tube feeds using a Kangaroo pump
- Administering medications
- Applying eye ointments
- Conducting skin checks and basic wound care
- Offering incontinence care
- Assisting with nebulizer treatments
- Performing oral suction as needed
- Providing support with cough assist, as necessary
- Observing and reporting any respiratory concerns; familiarity with lung sound assessment is a plus
- Offering range of motion (ROM) exercises
- Assisting with personal hygiene
