Community Horizons is a Wisconsin-based Support Broker agency that covers 47 counties. Due to the continued growth, we are on the lookout for another team member. This position would be responsible for covering Brown and Surrounding Counties. Recruitment experience is required. The ideal candidate will have a desire to grow with the company.
In this role, you will play a crucial role in identifying and attracting qualified healthcare professionals for the members we work with within the community. Your experience in healthcare recruitment will contribute to the success of the member's success. What is the role of a Support Broker?
Support Brokers are expected to provide services to individuals enrolled in self-directed programs to have the opportunity to lead a self-determined life and reach their goals. In this role, you will work directly with individuals in their homes on their caregivers' recruitment process, which will be carried out through the following tasks.
Responsibilities:
-Attend referral meetings and home visits within the community
- Conduct full-cycle recruiting for healthcare positions, including nurses and caregivers
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess their qualifications and fit for the role
- Collaborate with members to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
- Assist with education and mentoring of scheduling, timecard overview, and EVV requirements.
- Utilize various recruitment methods, such as job boards, social media, and networking events, to attract qualified candidates
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and members
- Assist with the onboarding process such as fiscal agent new hire paperwork
·-Document services and supports provided otherwise known as case notes
Skills:
- Experience in healthcare recruitment
-5 years experience working with the frail elderly/disabled population.
- Understanding of social work principles and practices
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with candidates, members, and other care team members.
- Ability to assess candidate qualifications
- Valid driver's license for travel within the community to individual homes
