The Chief Compliance and Quality Officer (CCQO) for Alivia Care, advises the President & CEO and Board on regulatory compliance, oversees quality and performance improvement initiatives, and directs corporate compliance, quality improvement, and risk management. This role ensures that all departments meet regulatory standards and continuously improve patient care and operational outcomes.

Job Description
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight
Advise on compliance matters and maintain ethical standards, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations (e.g., CMS, HIPAA).Leading the development of the overall corporate compliance program and subsidiaries, as well as preparing reports and evaluations for senior leadership and the Board.Develop and monitor internal controls, conduct audits, and oversee responses to regulatory queries.Collaborate with HR on employee compliance training and disciplinary processes.Ensuring Compliance with Accreditation Standards : Oversee and implement policies and procedures that align with standards to maintain accreditation status.Coordinating Accreditation Surveys and Reviews : ensuring all necessary documentation and preparations are in place for successful evaluations.Quality and Performance Improvement
Develop and lead quality assurance and improvement programs, addressing patient care, satisfaction, and safety.Oversee data collection and reporting on quality metrics, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership.Drive initiatives to enhance patient experience, operational efficiency, and adherence to best practices.Risk Management
Develop risk management strategies, conduct internal audits for compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and best practices across all service areas.Prepare the organization for state and federal surveys and regulatory audits.Required Skills and Competencies
Healthcare Compliance Knowledge : In-depth understanding of healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, Anti-Kickback Statute, and Stark Law.Leadership and Collaboration : Proven leadership experience in compliance, quality management, and cross-functional teamwork.Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to analyze complex regulations, assess compliance impact, and develop actionable improvement plans.Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to clearly convey complex compliance requirements to diverse audiences.Attention to Detail and Integrity : Strong commitment to ethical behavior, meticulous in reviewing regulations, and dedicated to fostering a culture of compliance and integrity.Adaptability : Ability to thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment and adapt to changing regulations and standards.Education & Desired Experience :
Education : Master's degree in nursing or related field preferred; alternatively, advanced degree in Health Administration (MHA), Healthcare Compliance, Business Administration (MBA), or related field.Certifications : Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Lean Six Sigma or equivalent quality / process improvement certification, Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), or equivalent certification is preferred.Experience : Minimum of 7-10 years in healthcare compliance, quality management, or related roles, with increasing responsibility.We are an equal opportunity employer.
