Key Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight: Manage all financial aspects of the hospital, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and audit processes
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the leadership team to formulate and execute financial and operational strategies that align with the hospital's goals and mission
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and laws while actively managing financial risks
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain robust relationships with external auditors, bankers, suppliers, and other key stakeholders to facilitate effective financial management
- Data Analysis: Use data analytics to monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement in operational efficiencies and revenue generation
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required
- Master's degree or CPA certification is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive financial leadership experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is required
- Proven experience as a CFO or similar role with demonstrated financial acumen and strategic thinking
- Experience with financial management software and electronic health records
- Thorough understanding of healthcare finance principles, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent analytical skills and a strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Capacity to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
