What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Worker position at Community Hospital of Anaconda?
Community Hospital of Anaconda is seeking a full-time Social Worker, regularly scheduled Monday – Friday.
This position is responsible for assisting director in providing consultation and direction of Social Services in the acute and swing bed facility. Must have ability to work with staff, physicians, community providers and with patients and families, who can be emotionally upset or hostile. Must demonstrate proficiency and proper utilization of the electronic medical record, including proper documentation.
BS or BA, from an accredited college or equivalent. Previous experience in all aspects of Social Service and discharge planning, preferred.
