Certification Details BLS ACLS PALS Job Details A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Ambulatory / GI nurse for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience. Job Requirements Hold an active CA License. 2 full years of experience required. Schedule Information Shifts : 8 hr shifts - 5 : 30am-2pm, 9-5 : 30pm, 10 : 30am-6pm, 11a-7p (must be flexible with shifts). Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend, could be more or less. Holidays : 24 hour call requirement. Call requirement : variable based on needs of unit. Unit Specific Information Required Duties : perform moderate sedation during the GI cases. Must Have Skills : 1 year experience with Moderate sedation is primary. ERCP experience is preferred but not mandated. Additional Details ACLS, BLS, PALS; 2 / 12 or 2 / 26 Start Date ONLY. Unit : Amb / GI lab - this unit is a hybrid ambulatory care center. beds : 5. Phase 1 and Phase 2 : GI nurses pre / post the moderate sedation patients. Common types of cases to recover : GI - upper and lower GI Peg tubes.
