The Physical Therapist Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the mission of Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients of all ages.
Under the direction of the department director, assistant director, and/or supervisor , you will work collaboratively with a variety of professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans that meet individual patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to patients of all ages
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Associate degree in physical therapist assistant studies or related field preferred
- Minimum one year of experience in outpatient and skilled nursing settings preferred
- Current licensure as a physical therapist assistant or physical therapy license applicant status required
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association
