Job Details

  • Facility in California seeking a CVICU RN that can receive patients from OR and manage post care.
  • CTICU - Cardio Thoracic experience required. Will receive fresh open heart surgical patients and provide immediate care.
  • Average census 10-13 patients in a 20 bed ICU unit.

    • Job Requirements

  • CA license required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification required.
  • NIHSS certification required.
  • PALS certification preferred.

    • Schedule Information

  • 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.
  • Schedules made out about 2 weeks in advance.
  • Travelers need to be flexible to help fill needs.
  • Weekend requirement : every other weekend.
  • Holiday requirement : flexibility in working holidays.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • 1 : 1-2 patient ratios.
  • Charge Nurse / House Supervisor available on both shifts.
  • No nurse aids on this unit; support tech available as needed.

    • Additional Details

  • NICOTINE FREE facility, included in drug screen.
  • All RTO needs to be in at the time of submission. NO RTO will be approved after offer is sent.
  • Looking for someone willing and open to learning.
