Admissions Representative: Day shift position typically working 32 hours/week, plus every 4th weekend.
The Admission Representative is the first encounter for those entering the hospital. Duties include handling all incoming and outgoing calls quickly and courteously. Receiving patients and visitors, ascertaining their needs, providing directions, and helping them accordingly. The Admissions Representative will also be responsible for obtaining required information and consents for patient registrations and maintaining accurate patient census.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Business or related field and/or equivalent work experience required
- Hospital or Medical Office experience preferred
- Must be at least 19 years of age
