Lab Assistant
Job Details
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Post High School Vocational / Specialized training in Clinical Laboratory Science
* Documented on the job training which ensures that the individual has the skills required to ensure that all phases of patient testing (Pre-analytic, analytic, post-analytic) are carried out according to the lab's standard operating procedures, and awareness of factors the influence tests, and a working knowledge of their work environment and the tools (reagents/equipment) that they use in performance of daily tasks.
*Operates laboratory instrumentation, computer, calculator, fax, phone, photo copier. Oral and written communication.

1 weekend a month
