Multi-physician family practice clinic in Yukon is seeking a full time Medical Assistant
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination, take vitals and record patient health history
- Prepare charts, assist physician with medical procedures and exams
- Administer injections and immunizations, triage patient calls for medication refills and provide test results
- Keep exam rooms clean and equipped with appropriate supplies
- Other duties as assigned
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred but not required
- At least 2 years experience preferred
- Must be detailed oriented
- Good phone etiquette, customer service and time management skills required
- Experience in a family practice clinic preferred but not required
- High School graduate or equivalent required (GED)
