Job Description:
- Position: Practice Manager
- Location: Grand Valley Primary Care - Palisade and Patterson Road (two Locations)
- Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Responsibilities:
1. Supervision and Leadership:
Provide leadership and direction to clinical and administrative staff.
Supervise medical assistants, nurses, and administrative personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to policies and procedures.
2. Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and evaluate staff members.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for professional development.
Manage staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient patient care.
3. Quality Assurance:
Under the guidance of the Practice Director, you will assist with the implementation and enforcement of quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Monitor compliance with regulatory standards and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and guidelines.
4. Patient Care Coordination:
Oversee patient scheduling, registration, and billing processes to ensure smooth patient flow and satisfaction.
Address patient concerns and complaints promptly and elevate to Practice Director if necessary.
5. Clinical Support:
Assist with staff and operations support focusing on patient care as needed, especially during busy periods or in emergencies.
6. Budget Management:
Under the guidance of the Practice Director, you will assist with the oversight of the clinic's budget, including monitoring expenses, revenue generation, and productivity.
Identify areas for cost containment and efficiency improvements.
7. Communication and Collaboration:
Foster effective communication and collaboration among staff members, healthcare providers, and other departments.
Serve as a liaison between management, staff, and external stakeholders.
8. Training and Education:
Coordinate staff training programs and continuing education opportunities to ensure compliance with regulations and professional development.
9. Administrative Duties:
Oversee administrative tasks such as inventory management, equipment maintenance, and ordering supplies.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient care, staffing, and operational activities.
10. Performance Metrics:
Works with other Primary Care Practice Managers and Director to implement strategies to achieve performance targets and enhance operational efficiency as directed by Primary Care Medicine Practice Director.
Compensation:
- $33.00 - 37.95 per hour, depending on education and experience.
- Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
