PRN Radiologic Technologist needed for fast paced orthopedic clinic in South OKC
M-F, 8-5pm availability
No nights, weekends or major holidays
Diagnostic X-ray only
Essential Functions:
- Performs imaging procedures independently by interpreting the order, assessing the patient, completing necessary paperwork, positions the patient, selecting appropriate equipment and supplies, selecting accurate technique factors, making exposures, processes, critiques and prepares films for interpretation.
- Transportation of patients as needed to and from the Imaging services department.
- Practices radiation safety techniques and is responsible for marking and labeling films correctly.
- Exhibits exceptional team work and patient care skills necessary for an efficient patient centered Imaging facility.
- Certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
- Graduate of Radiologic Technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCRET) preferred.
- Experience working in a high volume orthopedic clinic or high volume X-ray department preferred.
- Experience with Carestream, Phillips, Agfa systems helpful.
- Experience with EPIC a plus.
