What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Guard position at Community Hospital?
Security Guard: Part-time position working 2 shifts per week. Shifts are 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am.
Job duties include: Patrol internal and external property. Investigate unusual or suspicious situations. Maintain records and logs as assigned. Enforce the organization’s procedures and regulations during and after normal work hours. Assist with and trains for emergency situations. May operate firefighting equipment and handheld radios. Refers dangerous situations or complex problems to local law enforcement.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
- Must possess interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively resolve hostile situations.
