Job Title: FPATH Certified Peer Specialist FLSA: Non-Exempt
Compensation: $30.00 - $36.47 per hour
Supervisor: FPATH Supervisor
Here at Community House Mental Health Agency, we strive to provide a supportive family atmosphere in Seattle and King County for people with severe and persistent mental illness. Each person who walks through our door has a unique story, and we believe that everyone deserves to feel welcomed and valued.
Within our Diversion Services is the Forensic-Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness, better known as our F-PATH team. The F-PATH Program is a voluntary intensive outreach program that works with adults with severe persistent behavioral health issues. The Washington State Health Care Authority contracts with CHMHA to find and offer services to people who have had multiple requests for competency evaluations in the last two years. Our F-PATH team provides free companion-based case management to help people connect to resources with the goal of connecting people in our program to long term behavioral health treatment to break their cycle of incarcerations.
Our Diversion Services here at CHMHA has a fantastic opening for an FPATH Certified Peer Specialist.
Our Certified Peer Specialist will serve as an advocate and provide peer support services to individuals in our community who have been deemed not competent to stand trial. This program works closely with the Health Care Authority as well as DSHS Forensic Navigators in regaining control over their own lives and over their own recovery process. The Certified Peer Counselor will model competency in recovery and ongoing coping skills.
At Community House, we value a strong work-life balance and aim to provide the best support for our workers. As a CHMHA employee, you will have access to a range of unique benefits, such as company-paid medical/dental/vision/disability insurance, a 403B retirement plan with employer match, continuing education credit, a personal unlimited ORCA card, and an employee assistance program with financial, mental, and legal assistance.
