Job Title: Program Manager
Reporting Supervisor: Executive Director
The Program Manager is responsible for the daily coordination and oversight of Beth's Place. The individual in this position is responsible for supervising assigned staff at this location and monitoring staff training and development. In addition, the Program Manager works closely with the Beth’s Place care team(s) and leadership team to ensure youth residing at Beth’s Place remain in compliance with program requirements.
Typical Work
- Provides supervision to Beth’s Place staff located at the Youth Shelter including but not limited to, case managers and direct care staff;
- Oversees day-to-day operations and facility compliance, schedules and reporting facility and maintenance needs;
- Develops and maintains program policies, procedures, guidelines, goals and objectives in support of Beth’s Place program. Ensures staff are appropriately trained on facility policies, procedures and processes;
- Complies with all relevant and applicable laws and licensing rules;
- Works closely with Beth’s Place leadership to develop program activities;
- Monitors youth resident program compliance. Works with youth care team to support youth in meeting compliance requirements;
- Participates in meetings with leadership staff, community partners and prospective community partners to meet the goals and objectives of the Youth Shelter program;
- Approves times off requests and manages schedules for assigned staff. Approves timesheets for staff each pay period;
- Provides oversight to staff follow-through on tasks, policies and procedures by providing supportive leadership to staff. Conduct and schedule team meetings, supervisions, training and employee performance reviews;
- Collaborates with Human Resources when staff are in need of additional training and development opportunities;
- Ensures each youth residing at Beth’s Place has a treatment and care plan that is executed and completed;
- Maintain availability by phone during the organization’s regular scheduled business hours, as needed;
- Meets with the Executive Director on a regular basis;
- Follow mandated reporter requirements by documenting incidents and calling CPS. Follow up on CPS and non-CPS incidents;
- Complies with HIPAA and 42 CFR privacy and security regulations;
- Completes additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Holds a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and one year of similar, full-time experience working with vulnerable populations; or,
- Holds an associate’s degree from an accredited college or university and two years of similar, full-time experience working with vulnerable populations; or,
- Three years of similar, full-time experience working with vulnerable populations;
- Knowledgeable in HIPAA and 42 CFR requirements;
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing;
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Ability to effectively navigate the organization’s softwares and resident tracking programs.
