AHI is at a pivotal point in its journey. With a vision to become the official professional body for the housing sector, representing 30,000 members by 2030, they are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to take on the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This role is about building on their strong foundations, driving membership growth, enhancing member engagement, and leading sector capacity building initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead this membership organisation in the homelessness and housing sector.
- Increase membership and capability through influence and education.
- Build the most influential peak body in the social housing sector in Australia.
- Execute AHI’s strategic plan.
- Grow individual and organisational memberships.
- Manage a small team of dedicated AHI staff.
- Increase AHI’s impact across Australia and New Zealand.
- Work closely with the Board and committees to set and deliver on strategic priorities.
- Engage with key stakeholders including government and sector leaders.
- Oversee the delivery of diverse programs and events.
- Secure sponsorships for events and programs, enhancing the value AHI provides to its members.
