Community Housing Innovations is a not-for-profit housing and human services organization that aims to support social and economic independence.
We are looking for a full-time Resident Support Specialist (RSS) to provide a safe, structured, and supervised environment for CHI residents and staff.
The RSS will coordinate and verify client movement in the facility while monitoring client conduct and overall behavior during tour of duty. This includes:
- Maintaining visibility to residents, staff, and visitors by wearing a safety monitor vest, ID badge, and professional attire.
- Screening all clients and visitors entering the facility.
- Performing bag searches upon intake and as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience working in a related field preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English required. Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
We offer a competitive salary of $20.00 per hour - $41,600 annually, along with opportunities for overtime and flexible scheduling.
