As an IT Support Technician, you will provide direct support to the Information Technology operations of CHN by resolving support requests and providing basic support to PC components, mobile devices, and other technology-related tools.
Responsibilities include:
- Technical Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, provide support for software and hardware, and manage system performance, errors, and connectivity problems.
- End User Support and Communication- Manage helpdesk tickets, assist users with technical issues, explain solutions clearly, and provide IT training or guidance.
- Customer Communication and Service- Deliver professional and empathetic customer support, diagnose issues effectively, and set clear expectations for resolution across multiple channels.
- Documentation and Follow-up- Record customer interactions and resolutions in a ticketing system, and maintain a knowledge base for recurring issues.
- Customer Satisfaction and Feedback- Ensure customer satisfaction through active listening, efficient issue resolution, follow-ups, and feedback analysis to improve processes and products.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree in IT-related fields is a plus). 1–3 years in technical support or customer-facing IT roles.
- Valid Driver’s License; auto insurance
- Traveling to properties for technical support. All properties located in Frankin County, Ohio.
- Strong customer-centric mindset, patience, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite Products (including SharePoint) and ability to learn and adapt to changing technology utilized in role
- General understanding of computer network cabling and network file and print servers
- Proficient in computer applications, such as Active Directory and Group Policies
