Support Counselor II
The Support Counselor II role expands on Support Counselor I responsibilities by actively collaborating with Case Manager/Housing Navigators to bolster their caseloads and facilitate clients' progress in the program. Support Counselor IIs offer emotional and life skills support to improve client well-being, while also monitoring and documenting client progress to ensure they are advancing towards their goals. Support Counselor II’s also provide general supervision of program and client activities, assisting with scheduling, documenting client activity, and maintaining a safe and clean environment consistently. Candidates should demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and possess knowledge of program rules, along with proven problem-solving skills to handle diverse situations. Effective communication with individuals from various backgrounds is essential, along with a solid understanding of homelessness, substance use disorders, and mental health challenges to collaborate effectively with colleagues. Flexibility in availability for day, evening, weekday, and weekend shifts is required. Other duties as assigned.
Salary $54,087 - $65,744/yearly D.O.E, additional 5% bilingual stipend
