Future Impacter,Community Impact is looking for a passionate and experienced Managing Editor to lead their newsroom in the San Antonio Metro. As Managing Editor, you'll play a crucial role in shaping news coverage and ensuring delivery of local and useful content across all platforms, including our monthly print newspapers, website, and daily newsletters.The Managing Editor is the guardian of Community Impact's editorial focus of serving as a business journal for the average resident. You will lead and mentor a team of talented reporters and editors to accomplish this vision, overseeing the editorial process from ideation to publication for our editorial products.This role requires a deep understanding of the local media landscape, a passion for community journalism, and a proven ability to coach and inspire a newsroom. Collaboration is also key, as the Managing Editor will partner closely with other managers and the Market President to produce high quality content.
