Position Overview:
We are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead Community Impact's financial and human resources operations. This executive will be instrumental in shaping and executing financial and HR strategies that align with our mission to build communities of informed citizens and thriving businesses. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership:
Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies that support Community Impact's long-term objectives.
Lead enterprise risk management processes to safeguard assets and reputation.
Evaluate and execute investment opportunities to align with strategic goals.
Direct budgeting and forecasting processes to guide decision-making and resource allocation.
Collaborate with executive leadership and owners to communicate financial performance, strategic initiatives, and growth opportunities.
Human Resources Leadership:
In collaboration with our Chief Talent Officer:
Develop and oversee HR strategies that align with organizational goals and foster a culture of innovation, integrity, and excellence.
Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract top-tier talent that reflects Community Impact’s mission and values.
Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive offerings and compliance with all legal requirements.
Oversee performance management systems, including goal setting, appraisals, and professional development initiatives.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, updating policies and procedures as necessary.
Operational Leadership:
Manage and mentor the finance and HR teams, fostering professional growth and a high-performance culture.
Develop and refine operational processes and systems to enhance organizational efficiency.
Provide regular updates on HR and financial outlooks during all-staff meetings.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CFO, senior financial leader, or in a financial role with HR oversight.
Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
Expertise in corporate financial law, risk management practices, and strategic HR planning.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, manage cross-functional teams, and drive organizational change.
