Purpose: To assist the Directors of Community Independent School District while ensuring efficiency and organization of the office in a consistent manner. Help facilitate efficient operations, providing clerical support to the administrative staff.
Qualifications: Education/ Certification: High School graduate Present a pleasant image in working with the general public Excellent spelling and grammar skills Experience in secretarial and bookkeeping procedures and ability to work under stressful deadlines Excellent typing skills (minimum requirement is 60 wpm) Ability to operate a computer and enter certain kinds of data (inventory, evaluation, personnel, etc.) utilizing a computer management system Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities and projects in order to meet timelines Ability to handle day-to-day disruptions and requirements as necessary with a positive attitude Ability to multi-task Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Experience: One to three years secretarial experience, preferably in public education environment Data processing skills preferred Customer service experience

Major Responsibilities: 1. Maintain professional decorum and protect confidentiality of all staff, parents, and students. 2. Adhere to time schedule for completing projects. 3. Maintain SHARS data 19. Maintain MAC data 20. Prepare bus route information for the Transportation Department 21. Facilitate SEAS program 22. Maintain/update job descriptions and evaluation forms 23.
