KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Lead Services: Oversee day-to-day program activities and ensure overall quality of person-centered services. Work individually with program participants and staff to craft meaningful goals, schedules, and teaching strategies. Communicate effectively with participants, families, representatives from funding agencies, and other service providers.
- Lead People: Provide direct supervision to up to 15 staff members. Provide ongoing scheduling, training, and support, set clear expectations, evaluate staff performance, coach, and provide feedback.
- Direct Service: Provide hands-on direct service, as needed, including personal care. Fill in nights and weekends as needed to relieve direct service staff members. Work on-call on a rotating basis to handle participant/staff emergencies. Report individual progress through regular written reports and attend participant planning team meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates must have at least three years of experience in a human services delivery system, with at least one year experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, or a bachelor's degree in a human services field to be considered for this position; a bachelor's degree and leadership experience are strongly preferred
- Ability to provide staff training, supervision, and planning
- High level of trustworthiness and integrity
- A solid work history and references that can attest to your dependability and reliability
- Flexibility, a positive attitude, team-oriented approach, good judgement and problem-solving skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A vehicle, CA Driver's license, vehicle insurance, and satisfactory driving record
COMPENSATION AND WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) non-exempt position with a starting pay rate of $27.00 per hour. Depending on program/participant needs, occasional evening, weekend, and/or overtime availability may be needed. Our outstanding benefits package includes:
