Job Overview

Duties

- Provide psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Engage in crisis intervention and management to support patients in acute distress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using medical terminology.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver services remotely when necessary.
- Stay informed on the latest developments in psychopharmacology to provide informed recommendations for medication management.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in pediatrics and behavioral health.
Experience
- A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting or similar healthcare environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and experience managing complex cases is essential.
- Familiarity with telehealth practices is a plus.
- Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and its application in patient care is advantageous.
