Principal (2025-2026)

Alameda Learning Center is looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate Principal to lead our 6-12 programs. We are seeking a leader who has experience implementing Restorative Justice, experience working in a diverse population, and familiarity with mindful practices. Alameda offers an innovative, engaging, flexible and comprehensive curriculum that creates lifelong learners and prepares them for college and beyond. We have an amazing school culture and academic program. We are looking for bright and enthusiastic educators to join us in Alameda. Mission Statement: The Alameda Community Learning Center is an educational model that empowers all youth to take ownership of their educational experience, to celebrate their diverse community, and to actively participate as members of a democratic society. In order to uphold our Mission Statement, staff must be innovative, flexible, collaborative, supportive of “learners”, and maintain open communication with parents/guardians. We are a 6th through 12th grade project- based learning community. Learning happens contextually across all subjects, with facilitators creating innovative, engaging, and differentiated day-to-day curriculum and projects to meet the needs of the individual learner. Community Learning Center Schools (CLCS) is a non-profit organization founded to support and manage two of the Bay Area's most innovative and respected public charter schools.
