What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Community Library Network?
The Community Library Network at Post Falls has a 40-hour per week Administrative Assistant position open. This position will receive PERSI (retirement), health and dental insurance, paid holidays, and vacation and sick leave benefits. Work hours are primarily Monday – Friday.
The Administrative Assistant position works closely with the Business Manager and is responsible for bookkeeping, accounting, cash handling, timekeeping and payroll processing, and administrative tasks. The job requires strong attention to detail, understanding of accounting standards, knowledge of human resources principles, professional communication, and computer skills.
The successful applicant has:
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration and/or Human Resources; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- One year bookkeeping experience utilizing accounting software
- Human Resources experience; one year in the public sector preferred
- Any equivalent combination of experience and education which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
- Enjoys interacting with a wide variety of people
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn and lead
Starting at $24.52 per hour.
