What are the responsibilities and job description for the Circulation Specialist position at Community Library Network?
The Community Library Network is hiring four 19.5-hour per week Circulation Specialist positions. Three positions will be located at the Hayden Library and one position will be located at the Spirit Lake Library. Both libraries are open at varying times Monday – Saturday and work hours may include evening and weekend hours. Responsibilities include:
-Performing library circulation activities including checking books in and out and shelving
-Assisting patrons with the use of library resources and technologies
-Providing technical, computer, and information systems support
-Adhering to library policies, procedures, and directives
This job requires strong customer service, communication, and computer skills. The successful applicant:
-Understands the principles and practices of providing professional library customer service
-Enjoys interacting with a wide variety of people
-Is comfortable with technology
-Demonstrates a willingness to learn
Starting at $16.58 per hour.
