What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA OR HOME HEALTH AIDE position at Community LIFE?
Location : Bedford, PA
Schedule : Full-Time - (Fluctuating Between Days and Evenings) OR (12 : 30p-9p Tuesday-Saturday - E xtra $1 / hr for this shift)
Salary : $16.50 and up per hour, based on experience. PLUS, WE ARE OFFERING AN ADDITIONAL $5 / HR FOR FILLING EXTRA WEEKEND HOME HEALTH SHIFTS, (in addition to your regular schedule!)
Position Duties : Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to our program participants (age 55 ) in their home. This includes responsibilities such as bathing / showering, toileting, dressing, meal prep, feeding, light cleaning, etc. Occasional hours in the day center as needed.
Requirements :
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year (12 months) of experience providing caregiving services for the frail or elderly
- Valid PA Drivers license and reliable vehicle
- CNA preferred but not required
