Job Description
The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for conducting individual nutrition assessments and developing care plans for older adults (age 55 ) in conjunction with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT). This position requires strong clinical knowledge, particularly in areas such as nutritional supplements, diabetes education, and renal diets. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication and counseling skills.
Requirements
- Graduate/Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in nutrition or dietetics
- One year of experience as a dietitian/nutritionist working with the frail elderly population either in a hospital or nursing home setting
- Current Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) registration and PA licensure
