Accounting Clerk
At Community-Living Centers Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the accounting department.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Reconcile bank accounts in a timely manner for residents
- Enter key data of financial transactions in Quickbooks
- Audit all resident books to ensure all documentation is in order for licensing/MORC/Social Security audits
- Train home managers on financial procedures regarding recording resident fund books
- Liaison between managers/parents/guardians as it relates to resident funds
- Track and maintain all outstanding resident receipts for any requests
- Maintain resident and group home directories
- Reconcile Monthly Benefit Invoices
Requirements:
- High school graduate required, Associate Degree or equivalent education preferred
- Two years experience required
- Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and Generally Accepted Accounting procedures
- Above standard competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software, specifically Excel
- Above standard competency in Quickbooks
Essential Functions:

- Ability to comprehend and carry out written and verbal instructions
- Ability to document accurately and completely
