The Job Coach provides on-going support to individuals working in various employment sites in the community.
Pay Rate: $20.50/Hr
This is a six week, seasonal position running through June and July.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Implements training plans and formal programs to ensure successful employment or training for persons served participating in the plan
- Writes clear and concise reports and progress notes for each person served participating in the program
- Completes documentation in a timely fashion
- Collects accurate data on each person served participating in the program
- Provides direct instruction to each person served participating in the program
- Attends and schedules meetings as necessary regarding each person served participating in the program
- Responsible for maintaining funding guidelines and ensuring compliance
- Maintains positive relationships with employers
- Meets and maintains billable hours
- Completes and maintains all required trainings
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Education, Experience, Skills:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Possess sound oral and written communication skills as well as decision-making skills
- Possess good listening and comprehension skills along with strong leadership skills
- Must be able to write and document in a clear, concise, and professional manner
- Must be able to adapt at balancing multiple caseloads
- Ability to work as a team member
- Possess the ability to use Microsoft Office applications including, but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Driver’s License
- Physically assist participants as needed
- Environment may vary from indoor to outdoor work as well as working in a wide temperature range. May have to operate light machinery such as floor buffers and pallet jacks
- Moderate Work – Exerts up to 50lbs of force occasionally and 20lbs frequently. Standing, sitting, reaching, and walking are common
- Variable work schedule: evenings, weekends, split-shifts
